Scored 92% in 10th class.
She decided to study
Psychology.
Everyone around her called her
dumb.

They said she was going to regret it. When She went to take admission for 11th class, even teachers advised her to enroll in science or commerce. They told her that there was no scope in this field and you are too good to study humanity.

She ignored everyone and pursued her dream.

With her sheer brilliance, she became the school topper in the 12th board exam and got 100/100 in the subject of Psychology.

No one expected that a student from humanity could get the first rank in the school.
And again, this time no one praised her.

Why?

”Humanity hai. top karna aasan tha”, they all said.(It’s easy to get the top rank in humanity major)

Because of her academic excellence, she got into a really great college at Delhi University to study psychology and understand human behavior.

She did exceptionally well throughout her academic career. And finally decided to pursue research in the field of psychology. She went to IIT Delhi, and she was the youngest Ph.D. scholar in her group.

Even this time her friends & relatives told her: ”Jhooth bol rahi hai ke iska IIT me hua, IIT to technical college hota hai.”(She’s lying that she’s studying in IIT. It’s a technical college only)

— She did a project with UNESCO
— Selected for the
International Young Research Scholar program.
— She is currently doing another project with
WHO and the United Nation.

But it doesn’t matter, does it?

She didn't do Btech after all.

And this is what wrong with our education system.

“Our obsession with Btech and MBBS”

Anyways, meet Kirti Tyagi .

Let's give her all the praise she deserves.

Let's respect every field of study and not only B.Tech or MBBS.

On a lighter note: She’s heading our research team at Health Tick and I can see her passion to help people become healthier & happier.

How can I become a more quiet and calm person?

Five ways to become a more quiet and calm person.

  1. Meditation - being able to quiet your mind will prepare your brain for when you get into stressful and angry situations. Even simple meditation for just a few minutes per day can have a huge impact. Meditation will help you connect to your brain’s theta waves, which will help you tap into your calm.
  2. Mindfulness in daily activities - In addition to incorporating mindfulness during meditation, you can also be mindful in small routine ways during your day. You can eat, brush your teeth, walk and communicate more mindfully each day to help you be calmer.
  3. Sensory connection - The calming part of your brain is in the same region as the sensory part of your brain. Using sensory regulation strategies like nature walks, warm showers or baths, listening to music, essential oils, tapping and more can help you relax. Go outside and feel the sun and breeze!
  4. Rhythmic activity - Your brain loves and is calmed by rhythm. Any patterned, repetitive and rhythmic activities such as walking, running, dancing, yoga, sport and more will calm your brain and body. Get up and move!
  5. Daily Journaling - creative expression in written or artistic form can help you reduce your stress and change the neurochemistry of your anxious brain. Whether you journal in doodles, phrases, words sentences or paragraphs, your mind will be soothed by the written expression of your emotions.

Some people are naturally more calm and relaxed, while others need to be more intentional about getting and staying calm.

What bothers you?

My Mother died in 2000 when I was 4 years old. I have an older brother and younger sister. After my mother's death, we were being sent to an orphanage, so that the burden of responsibility would not be increased on the relatives. My father was very surprised to see the condition of the orphanage, when my grandfather took him forcefully to get us admitted to the orphanage. He refused at the same time and said that I will raise all three children alone. My father had a love marriage so he never thought of a second marriage. After seeing the rude behavior of relatives, my father decided to leave Jaipur and we came to live in a small place far away from Jaipur. We left Jaipur in 2000 and left all nasty relationships behind.

Worrying about the future of the three of us, we were admitted to a hostel. We have spent 15 years in the hostel. Our childhood was spent with great grief due to poverty and not being privileged. Our school fees were filled into pieces.

But with much hard work and immense difficulties my father became financially strong and maintained a good standard around the people. Seeing a financially competent person, all the relatives started trying to have a good relationship with my father and they succeeded.

One thing that bothers me the most is that even after all this, today my father and my siblings are forgetting everything and wants to maintain relationship with those people and try to convince me to forget everything. But I am not able to see belonging to those people and I would never like to maintain that relationship.

Some people are like a gust of wind, they change direction when needed.

I still remember the time when relatives of all the children used to call from home, but nobody bothered to call us or they never came to see us in all these years except dad. And now they come to maintain their relationship with us without any invitation.

I have not yet kept a relationship with them and over time I am getting more distant from them.

Do you believe that life is fair? Can you prove how is it fair or how is it not?

Look at this picture:

She is Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Carolina de Monaco. She is beautiful. It is delicious. She is very healthy. I also think very smart. She studied philosophy and is extremely interested in the subject.

Look at this photo now:

He is a child who lives (and will die) in a landfill. Maybe he has no name, no parents or no one to take care of him. He is definitely sick. She is illiterate and will remain so for life. To him the world is that pile of manure. His best hope is to find something half rotten to fill his stomach.

Now, the motivation for being in their situation is the same for both: absolutely none .

This should answer the question.

To avoid misinterpretations, I think Charlotte Casiraghi is a wonderful woman. There is no animosity towards his person in this answer. I just wanted to compare a person who has everything from the cradle to another who will never have the slightest chance.

How fair is life?
